He\u2019s wearing his
\ncool breeze
\nI don\u2019t think so
\nnot in a million years
\neven if you were the last woman on earth
\ncrease up the front
\nfrayed at the edges
\nhigh water
\nmedium tan
\nDockers.<\/p>\n
We triple lock the door behind us,
\nsilently ride the elevator to the lobby,
\nglide through the turnstile door.
\nHe sits on the edge of a park bench,
\nfeeding this morning\u2019s burnt, twelve-grain
\ntoast to the pigeons.<\/p>\n
I hail a yellow and black checkered, up town taxi.<\/p>\n
