Such places<br \/>\nobey different laws<br \/>\nthan we obey. Our father<br \/>\ntaught us<br \/>\nto be taught<br \/>\nby signs like this.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Donald Mitchell live in Deming, WA on his family&#8217;s 130 year-old homestead. He is a self-published poet and his works include the collections <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Signs-Faith-poems-Donald-Mitchell\/dp\/1456530607\">Signs of Faith,<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/The-Shark-Skin-Man-Story\/dp\/1466484985\">The Shark Skin Man: A Story and Poems,<\/a><\/em> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Hello-Eternity-Poems-Donald-Mitchell\/dp\/1479164216\"><em>Hello Eternity.<\/em> <\/a>Raised by a preacher who was also a woodsman and fur trapper, he found an early draw to the soul of the woods and streams of the Nooksack River watershed.
