Sorrow<\/p>\n

I have considered the following tattoos:
\nA skull with a little flesh left on, dagger
\ncoming through the eye socket: back of the thigh.
\nA crown of leaves circling shoulders instead
\nof my head. A carrot sprouting from my sternum.
\nBlue flowers uncurling from stems
\nlike old memory. A skull without any flesh
\nleft, dry bone cracking: palm
\nof the hand. A scatter of fennel: left wrist.
\nSparrows carrying blue forget-me-nots.
\nRope of vines at the belly. A blue
\nbanner with the text: forget. Scissors
\npoking a hole through the sternum. A skull
\nbroken to pieces, eye sockets gone: side
\nof the throat. Blueberries with puckered necks
\nragged as old memory, a skull
\nwith a dagger coming through the eye socket.<\/p>\n
