Especially if I’m young,
\nscatter me
\nanywhere it’s legal.
\nFor I have not lived
\nby land, but by stars.
\nDescribe the trajectory
\nas a warm cave
\nof eternal friends,
\nas mothers singing
\nenchantments
\nover webs and bones.
\nHear my voice
\ndown a long reed.<\/p>\n
Cast me like a net,
\nthat I shall touch
\nat last
\nechoes of first light
\nand my children
\nshall make their pilgrimage
\nto the wind.<\/p>\n
