\nyou are. Once praising my telescope and
\nthe celestial bodies uncovered,
\nnow branding me a heretic
\nfor going against God and His scripture by saying
\nwe are not the center.
\nI set out only to discover the truth;
\nto follow the evidence
\nwith a mind open to wherever it may lead.
\nYou, however, carelessly dismiss my results
\nby thumbing through verses.
\nAnd yet it moves.<\/em>
\nI implore you, open your eyes and look
\nto the heavens, to our sister Venus
\nand the revolving moons of Jupiter.
\nSee what I see;
\nonly then will you discover
\nthe Earth is moving.<\/p>\n
