Here<br \/>\ncomes another one, there goes another<br \/>\none, now they&#8217;re all blending together.<\/p>\n<p>* * *<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m not sure what her face<br \/>\nis saying, but whatever it&#8217;s saying,<br \/>\nit&#8217;s really saying it.<\/p>\n<p>* * *<\/p>\n<p>A purr plays with<br \/>\nthe bubble of silence,<br \/>\na meow bursts it.<\/p>\n<p>* * *<\/p>\n<p>Where the wind comes from<br \/>\nand where it goes&#8230;<br \/>\nIt&#8217;s the same for all of us.<\/p>\n<p>* * *<\/p>\n<p>He&#8217;s staring at me.<br \/>\nHe&#8217;s daydreaming his mind<br \/>\ninto mine.<\/p>\n<p>* * *<\/p>\n<p>So, nothing lasts. Now what?<br \/>\nJust this&#8230;and the moon<br \/>\ngrowing brighter each night.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/fraglit.com\/od\/\">OLIVIA DRESHER<\/a> is a poet, publisher, editor and anthologist living in Seattle (Wallingford) since 1981. She is the publisher of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fraglit.com\/impassio\/index.htm\">Impassio Press<\/a> and the founder\/editor of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fraglit.com\/\">FragLit Magazine,<\/a> and in 2012 was co-editor of the online magazine <a href=\"http:\/\/qarrtsiluni.com\/category\/fragments\/\"><em>qarrtsiluni<\/em> <\/a>for the issue on fragments. She is also co-founder and director of the Life Writing Connection. Her poetry, fragments and essays have appeared in anthologies and a variety of online and in-print literary magazines. She is the editor of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/In-Pieces-Anthology-Fragmentary-Writing\/dp\/0971158355\"><em>In Pieces: An<\/em> <em>Anthology of Fragmentary Writing<\/em> <\/a>and co-editor of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Darkness-Light-Private-Writing-Art\/dp\/1583485600\/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&amp;ie=UTF8&amp;qid=1351494956&amp;sr=1-1\"><em>Darkness and Light: Private Writing as Art: An<\/em> <em>Anthology of Contemporary Journals, Diaries, and Notebooks.<\/em><\/a> She has written thousands of poetic fragments at <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/OliviaDresher\">Twitter,<\/a> spontaneously, and is currently working on a selection of these for several in-print collections.
