She attended Gonzaga University, where she received her B.A. in English and her M.A. in Educational Leadership. Her work has been published in the Blue Begonia Press anthology, <a href=\"http:\/\/bluebegoniapress.com\/weathered-pages_264.html\"><em>Weathered Pages,<\/em><\/a> in 2005. Her first book is <a href=\"http:\/\/bluebegoniapress.com\/catalogmatson-brooke_333.html\"><em>The Moons<\/em> (Blue Begonia Press, 2012)<\/a>.
